Enlarging sculptural elements unit somewhat recently was very much a manual process using creative measuring techniques and the point-up process.

Now the process for sculpture duplication and enlargement is much more technological, using 3D lasers or similar scanners, powerful computer software and 3D milling, 3D printing, and 3D hot wire cutting to complete the process. Here at Icon Poly, we have all these technologies in-house, which allows us to provide sculpture enlargement and duplication services for the most difficult projects. Love Knot | Saugerties and Woodstock, New York

The sculptures were conceived with the idea of “Tying the knot of Friendship between Saugerties and Woodstock.” They are designed so that each sculpture sends you to the other village, hence the name “Love KNOT.”
