DESCRIPTION
Each year Stamford Downtown hosts an outdoor sculpture exhibit designed to bring tourism. Stamford’s Art in Public Places Outdoor Sculpture exhibit features space sculptures lining the sidewalks and parks of the Downtown.
In 2019, Stamford hosted Space Invasion and featured 30 originally designed and painted fiberglass sculptures that were on display all summer. Their space-themed art project consisted of 3 different space-themed designs – A UFO with a light beam, a crashed UFO, and a rocket ship.
