Totos – Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
Toto is not in Kansas anymore. He’s in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin!
These larger-than-life Totos will bring all the smiles to those who find them around the Midwestern city. These adorable dogs are throughout the city in three poses. Each is sponsored by an individual business or organization, and then decorated by a local artist.
O-TOTO-mowoc is a public art tour done in celebration of the 85th anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz” movie premiere in 2024. Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, is one of the small, Midwestern cities chosen to originally screen the film back in 1939 before it became a blockbuster hit for the ages. Oconomowoc celebrates its Oz connection with events around the anniversary of the film’s release as well as another permanent experience, Oz Plaza. Here, you can find the Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy and friends – yes Toto too – and more. Oz Plaza, like the Totos, delight all who pass by. Not a day goes by, sun, rain or snow that these Oz tributes aren’t getting some attention and posing for selfies. Learn more at VisitOcon.com.
