Welcome to Muñecas Sin Rostro (“Faceless Dolls”), a vibrant public art and community-engagement initiative brought to life by Punto Urban Art Museum (PUAM). Set in Salem’s Point neighborhood—an area rich in cultural diversity yet underserved in public green space—this sculptural project uses the iconic faceless doll as a metaphorical canvas: a space without identity that invites residents to collaboratively inscribe their own stories. Through workshops, installations, and citizen-driven storytelling, Muñecas Sin Rostro transforms alleys, parks, and corners into sites of connection, belonging, and visual dialogue—amplifying voices that are often unseen and cultivating a more inclusive sense of place.
