DESCRIPTION
After seeing public art displays in other towns and just how successful they could become, Jessica Huss and Elizabeth Whyte, both local high school art teachers, were inspired to create a project of their own. Storm Lake is a town that was built around a lake. When entering the community, there is a tall lighthouse there to greet you. Both Huss and Whyte decided that for their art project they wanted lighthouse sculptures. The lighthouse art project is set to be completed sometime around June.
