DESCRIPTION
If you live in Nebraska, chances are that you have passed by the town of York on Interstate 80. You might even use the town as a halfway point for getting to your final destination. For many years, York, NE has been highly recognizable with its multicolored water tower. The Towers of York Design Challenge incorporates their recognizable water tower throughout the community. Fifteen local artists were given the opportunity to help create amazing works of art on a 5’ tall water tower sculpture. These sculptures were placed all over for the community and visitors alike to visit them. Smaller water tower sculptures were also created for kids to help create their own works of art.
